FMC Technologies is a one-person technology practice in Westchester County, New York. This page explains exactly what happens to information you send us. It is short because we collect very little.

What we collect

The only information this website collects is what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, an optional phone number, the service category you select, and the message describing your problem or project.

We do not run analytics, advertising trackers, or session recording on this site, and we do not set any cookies of our own.

How we use it

Solely to respond to your request and, if you become a customer, to carry out and keep records of the work. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for marketing, and we will not add you to a mailing list.

Who else touches it

• Cloudflare hosts this website and delivers contact form submissions to our email. We do not use a third-party form service, so your message goes straight from this site to our inbox.
• Our web host keeps standard server access logs, which typically include IP addresses and page requests.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Nobody else sees it.

Work performed on your equipment

Repair, recovery, and installation work can put us in contact with the contents of your devices and accounts. We look only at what the job requires, we do not copy or retain your files beyond what a specific task needs. Anything created for a job, such as backup images, recovered data, or credentials, is returned to you or destroyed once the work is finished and confirmed. We do not discuss the specifics of your setup with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted within about 12 months. Records tied to completed work are kept as long as needed for support history, warranty, and tax purposes.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, so form submissions are encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send passwords, account credentials, or financial details through the contact form. We will never ask for them that way.

Your choices

Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There is no account to manage and nothing to unsubscribe from.

Children

This site is intended for adults arranging technology services and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
